Go cycling on 6 August to snaffle our Cycle to Work Day medal!
In fact, you can cycle anywhere you like this year. Many people are working from home at the moment, or avoiding public transport, so this year it doesn't just have to be a commute to work – it could be a cycle trip to the shops, the school run, or simply a little pedal-powered time out.
There will be ten prize draws on the day too, each for a pot of 5,000 BetterPoints. You will earn a BetterTicket for recording a cycle ride of at least one mile. There will also be an opportunity to win another 5,000 BetterPoints for telling us the reason for your ride.
Cycling has become much more popular during lockdown, with bicycle sales rocketing. It's a great thing: cycling is much healthier than taking the car and helps keep the air clean and carbon emissions low.
So let's keep it up: let's stay on our bikes for commuting – and what better time to start than Cycle To Work Day on 6 August!
Cycle to Work Day is run by Cyclescheme.
